Known for her undeniable and authentic presence on Project Runway Season 16 and her bold, sculptural approach to design, Batani-Khalfani creates gowns that are not simply worn—they are experienced.

Born and Raised in South Central Los Angeles, Batani-Khalfani’s vision as an artist begin as soon as 4 years old. Painting, sculpting and creating with young hands and complete vision, Batani-Khalfani knew her path and always knew she was Destined To Rule. Studying Economics and Marketing at the University of California, Riverside including studying Classical South Indian Dance form, Bharatanatyam, Batani-Khalfani is true multi-hyphenate polymath who is devoted to the full expression of Life.
